2022 - Goodness

 Well.... It's 2022. It has certainly been a long time since I so much as thought about this blog, let along had the inclination or will to find the login details and add to it. But here we are, 11 years and a whole lot of life experience later, and somehow still talking to myself!

So what has changed? Back in 2011 I was in the midst of 6th form, just met the woman I thought I'd spend my life with and wondering where I might want my career in life to take me. I went to uni up in Staffordshire and, having completed the three years there, moved back to Oxfordshire - where I have lived since (albiet in a few different places). I started work as a videographer and have progressed to Marketing Coordinator, leading a small marketing team, and am happily living with a different partner and adorable cat.
I've learned a love of cooking, DIY and gardening - and have the space to indulge in these joys properly and incorporate them into my everyday life.

On the horizon are many new adventures. This year I'll be taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge for charity as well as a Swimathon - these provide me with a fitness goal for the year that I am attacking with gusto and excitement.

Who knows what the years will bring, and who knows when I'll update this blog again. But I expect I will.... one day.

Update

Hey, ok, so January exams are over *breathes sigh of relief* and i can relax for a while! BUT OH NO WAIT! Interviews and portfolios need to be created for various university applications. SIIIIGH not cool. The interview is in three weeks time so i have to put together a portfolio of past work as well as a long commentary and long piece of writing, fun times.
Once this is over however i shall be truly free from the stressed of imminent work for at least a month.......I hope.

PS3 trophy collecting is called for.

OK, so, I got my wand today (hurray) and that of course got me exciteddd!
Harry Potter part one in (counts silently in head) 6 days! Woop woop etc.

Tis kinda cool incorporating the spells into everyday situations, makes you realise that there actually ARE useful everyday spells. Yes you could call me a geek BUT if you think about it when reading books like Harry Potter, although it is supposedly set in, albeit loosely, modern day it all seems very distant. Bringing it into life is wierd!!!

But yeah, 6 days......very chaotic days.....but still 6 days.

Well, this is new. I've always been intrigued by the idea of blogging but never got round to it.....
My media teacher just made me set one up for media so i thought, why the hell not?

So anyways, if you have found this then you either know me and my alter ego OR you have been searching me from Youtube.
Ahhh those were the days, I havent posted in a while, kinda a critical time in my life with A levels and uni applications etc soooooo I have become a bit distant. Shame, i miss youtube. One day I shall make a comeback, one day. Until then, blogging.
